“The morning temperature was cool but with the promise of the day heating up later in the morning.

As we headed out of the berth at The Edison Ford Marina, we could see Pinchers staff busy setting up their dining area. The Edison Explorer entered into the river channel and it wasn’t long before we were joined by a dolphin. Further on we visited numerous mangrove areas with tons of birdlife. Beautiful white cranes, egrets and even a Bald Eagle sitting in its roost on a dead White Pine. All along the way the Certified Naturalist and Historian explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. It was fascinating learning about the old Semiole Bridge. Our day was completed with the sighting of two Manatee. People come from all over the world to see this animal.”
